How affiliate marketing works at SlimmeKat
When you click on a link to Bol or Coolblue from an article or review on SlimmeKat, a tracking code is included. If you make a purchase within a certain period, we receive a commission from the relevant webshop. The commission is generally between 3% and 8% of the purchase price.
The price you pay is always identical to the normal shop price. You never pay more via our links. The commission we receive is a fee that the webshop pays from its own margin - not on top of the selling price.
This revenue model makes it possible for SlimmeKat to buy and test all products itself. Without this income we would be dependent on manufacturers who supply free test samples - and that would compromise our independence. Affiliate commissions are therefore a prerequisite for honest, independent reviews.
